Good Morning MRPS--The Department of Health, with the help of the National Guard, has set up a pop-up testing site for the MRPS community on Saturday, October 17th at the Barre Auditorium from 9:00AM-3:00PM. They will have 300 testing kits available. To be assured a test, you will need to register beforehand on the Coronavirus page of the healthvermont.gov website. Details and links can also be found on our website, mrpsvt.org, and all of our social media outlets. The testing is free and you do not need health insurance to access this service. Should you decide to not register and be a “walk-in” please let them know that you are connected to Union Elementary School in order to receive a test.
The Department of Health decided to open this pop up site out of an abundance of caution because of the positive cases at Union Elementary School. They have also told us that they believe this outbreak is contained and that our systems and protocols are doing the job they were designed to do--mitigate the spread of this virus.
