2018-19: Week 35

Dear MHS,

Welcome back from spring break. Two important reminders as we return to school:

Reminder #1: We're under construction!
  • Our fitness area and auditorium renovations are underway. We will have no access to the girls' locker room, corresponding offices, the auditorium, the trainer's room, or either of the current fitness areas. Arrangements have been made for the girls' locker room to be moved (see coach or teacher) and we are using half of the gym for our fitness equipment. This will be a logistical challenge through the end of the year, but it will be great to have all of these areas renovated for the start of the school next fall! Thank you for your patience, collective problem solving, and understanding.
New look in the gym as we begin renovations!

Reminder #2: Late Starts Thurs. & Friday

For the full schedule, links, and explanation view: MHS Spring 2019 Outlook LetterAll 9th and 11th graders, please bring earbuds or headphones if you have them. We do have some available for you to use, but bringing your own helps us with the quantity and allows you to use a set that you are most familiar with.

  • May 8-11Thank you to all of the host families who have already volunteered to house All-State Musicians May 8-11!  We still need 112 more beds.  For two nights, you would provide bed, breakfast and transportation to U-32 for 2+ students.  Morning drop-off by 8:45am, evening pickup at 9pm. If morning transportation for the students is an issue, we've coordinated with U-32 to make it possible for some of the All-State musicians to ride the daily buses that pass by the roundabout near MSMS to get to U-32. Please contact Hilary Goldblatt, hilaryo@mpsvt.org if you are able to host!   Thank you for passing this email along to anyone you think could help out!
