Good morning,
I know our community of MHS parents and students are anxiously awaiting a schedule for the upcoming school year. Today, the MHS leadership team will be meeting with all staff, a group of parents and a group of students separately to solicit feedback and gather questions that can be used for an FAQ that will be sent out on Friday. I’m sure after the meetings today, many of you will hear of our planned schedule for next year. Please know that nothing will be finalized until I send out the schedule and FAQ sheet on Friday. Based on feedback, there may need to be small tweaks to the structure; however, we are as confident as we can be in putting forth a schedule that takes all perspectives of our school community into consideration while thinking of the best way to mitigate the risks for our staff and student population for in-person learning.
Many have inquired about filling out the survey Libby Bonesteel sent out July 23rd. Families have through August 3rd to make a decision as to whether or not their child will be attending in person or remotely. The results of this survey are very important for our planning around the schedule. Once the schedule is out on Friday, I will be available through the weekend with any questions you may have.
This email will be brief today as I will have a lengthier version with the schedule attached on Friday. Please remember to sign up as a subscriber on https://solonsalutes.blogspot.com/ as that will be my primary source for communication in the near future. You will get a notification each Monday when I send out a new post. If you don’t, please check your spam folder.
Please see Libby Bonesteel’s current response to common questions on returning to school HERE.
Thank you.
