A Solon Salute to MRPS music teachers, Hilary Goldblatt, Kirk Kreiz, Molly Clark, and to the MHS Music Students for their leadership in hosting the All-State Band festival. Special thanks to all of the community members who hosted high school musicians from around the state, our hosting partners at U-32, the Montpelier Police Department who helped with traffic during Wednesday's Parade, and everyone else who made hosting a success. Well done everyone!

A Solon Salute to Ronald Chesaux for running sound for both performances of the MSMS 8th Grade Musical Thursday and Friday night. Ronald and Lily Fournier spent the week prepping the 8th grade tech team on how to use and manages the rented microphones. Thanks for all your help!
A Solon Salute to Olivia Walsh, Rafaella Hill-Mosher, Mr. Bromley, and Ms. Machnik for taking a Saturday to pick up our new MHS Solon Bees for our start in beekeeping. For anyone with bee allergies, don't worry the bees will be living away from the MHS campus.

- May 21: "Away for the Day". All students will have the chance to participate in a phone free day for raffle prizes.
