A Solon Salute to the QSA for hosting a movie night on Friday. We screened "The Way He Looks," a movie from Brazil about a romance between two high school boys, one of whom is blind. Discussion afterwards ranged from how same-gender relationships are portrayed in movies, to what it means to "see" someone without sight, to the difference between high school parties in Vermont and Brazil. A Solon Salute to The Capital Store, our local Exxon Mobil dealer,
for nominating Montpelier High School for this generous $500 grant! MHS recently received an Exxon Mobil Educational Grant.
