A Solon Salute to our Nordic skiers who were out on the courses this past week. This weekend's snow should make for some nice skiing!

A Solon Salute to our MHS Basketball Teams who had winning weeks again last week. Congrats on all of the hard work! 

A Solon Salute to twelfth grader Maxwell Hughes. Max, recently completed an "About Me" video to go along with his college applications and did an outstanding job in doing so. Nice work Max!

A Solon Salute to everyone at MHS for hosting the film crew from MIT this past fall. Over several visits, the film crew followed a few students, interviewed teachers, and filmed some classes in order to put together short videos to accompany their Massive Open Online Course about proficiency (competency) based learning. The course will go live on January 31st. MIT expects students from over 100 countries to participate. Here are four example videos that they shared with us ahead of the course opening:
