A Solon Salute to Owen Carswell-Damiano, Sabrina Hicks, Jack LaPera, Brooke MacDonald-Powden, Bobby Powell, and Sophia Robins for their recent contributions at the Voices and Choices Conference in Burlington. Students enjoyed speakers, workshops, socializing, and a flash mob all about self-advocacy.

The MHS Bocce Team, The Solon Lawn Rollers, completed their spring season at the Vermont School Unified Bocce Tournament in St. Albans this past Thursday. It was a super fun statewide event with over 350 school Unified Bocce competitors. Congrats to Sophia

And to wrap up the season, the following MHS Unified student athletes presented highlights of their season on Friday to a group of Union Mutual employees who volunteer their time at Special Olympics events- Bob Powell, Zak Grupp, Sophia Robins, Sabrina Hicks and MHS alum Shaniah Bartlett (Class of 2014). Special thanks also to Sarah Olson for her support.
