A Solon Salute to the MHS Boosters and Hunger Mountain Co-op. On Wednesday, MHS Boosters treated all MHS faculty and staff to the annual Staff Appreciation Breakfast. Hunger Mountain Co-op generously sponsored the breakfast and provided quiches and baked goods made with locally sourced, all natural ingredients. Montpelier Food Service again lent a hand at all three schools ensuring the morning got off to a great start. A Special Community Solon Salute to Hunger Mountain Co-op!

A Solon Salute to Spanish Teacher, Colleen Purcell (Profa). Profa was recently chosen by a MHS graduate who is attending Saint Michael's College as an "Unsung Hero". Congratulations Colleen!

A Solon Salute to our programming students for competing in St. Anselm College's computer science competition. Jacob Bee Ho Brown, Asa Richardson-Skinder, Banyon Thompson, Omeed Fallahi, George Huang, and Jackson Markow represented MHS wonderfully! (From Ms. Machnik)

A hearty Solon Salute to Rachel Sucher, Will Rider, and Tale Duggan for participating in Lost Nation Theater's Budbill Outloud--a memorial tribute to poet David Budbill. These students chose poems by Budbill to read to an audience that included David's family. Lost Nation Theater presents Budbill's acclaimed Judevine through this weekend.

A Solon Salute to our Boys' Soccer Team and their coach Mr. Bill Basa. Members of the team worked together with some local Americorp members to plant trees and clean up along the river on Friday in honor of Arbor Day. We salute you!
A Solon Salute to prom advisor Barb Austin-Hutchins, the Junior Prom Committee: Amanda Adams, Joelyn Mensah, Noel Riby-Williams, Cricket Basa, Liam Frey, and Casarah Acosta, several other junior helpers, and the volunteer chaperones: Joe Carroll, Alison Lacivita, Steve Reinemann, Donna Gibbs, Kate Rowland, and Andrea Myotte. And special thank you to the MHS Boosters who pulled together some great door prizes that were given away throughout the night as well.
