A Solon Salute to all of the MHS learning community for a very successful 9th annual Fall Harvest Celebration.
- This unique day was made possible by the leadership of the Fall Harvest Celebration Committee (led by Mr. Sabo), and by too many others to name. The day was an outstanding example of community collaboration, student responsibility, and teamwork. As a school, we planted over 1300 trees in one morning. The shared meal was fantastic and the performances raise the bar each year. Special thanks to our community partners in planting the trees to help create a riparian buffer on the Dog River--MadDog Chapter of Trout Unlimited, and the Friends of the Winooski River. Thanks also to the MHS Boosters, Food, Farm, and Society Students, Montpelier Food Service, Student Council, Center for Sustainable Systems, Clark Amadon, Michele Braun, George Gross, Nate Rogers, Mimi Kulp, Joseph Kiefer, Tyler Strange, Danny Sagan, Vermont Sound & Light, and the Swingin' Over 60 Jazz Band.

A Solon Salute to the Club Action volunteers (Sadie Chase-Tatko, Isabelle Francke, Eve Taylor, Mary Margaret Page, Erin Sullivan, Samantha Murray, Evie Caserta, Nadia Scoppettone, Asa Richardson-Skinder, Judith Witke Mele & Matt Koucky) for helping to get our Enchanted Forest to be the best it has ever been! Whatever your role, we are so grateful for your offering to help us, or helping us in any capacity!
A Solon Salute to Mr. Jason Miles and all of the participating students from the Woodworking Design classes. This team did a great job designing and building the wood roof structure for our new pizza kiln. Special thanks to Tyler Strange and Mr. Chater for donating their time as well.
