Week 7

This week we look forward to the Community Forum from 6-8pm in the MHS library. This is part 2 of 4 in the forum series titled, "The Future of School". This week's forum will feature Montpelier's evolving work with transferable skills. All are welcome to attend.
  • A Solon Salute to our sports teams for continuing to represent hard-work and sportsmanship on behalf of MHS. The boys and girls' soccer teams won again over the weekend. The boys' won 3-1 against GMVS, and the girls' team won 2-0 against Randolph. Paul Farrell and Cricket Basa each had two goals respectively. The field hockey team played to a 0-0 tie against Missiquoi where goalie Emily Bashara had 23 saves. Field hockey plays Randolph this Tuesday night. And the cross-country team had a strong showing at the NCU open, Matt Hynes (1st place!), Theresa Noonan and Caitlin Acosta were the top Solon runners. We salute you! A Solon Salute to Ms. Chabot, Mr. McLane, Phil Carr, Elizabeth "Dee-Dee" Swenson, and all of the students (including but not limited to: Hayden Ellms, Alvaro de Cordoba Ribalta, Claire Fraser, Curtis Hayden, and Silvan Avery-Padberg). who helped to clean up the courtyard. It was overdue and you all volunteered to help keep your school beautiful. Awesome job and we salute you!
